A lunch launch for Kangooroo at Barangaroo
Saturday 5th August at 1pm, on site, near to the Towns Place entrance facing Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Please bring your own picnic as this is a DIY event at the invitation of the artist and friends, hoping for a fine day.
Kangooroo by Richard Tipping is made of two gigantic signs, the largest being 3 metres wide and standing 5.4 metres tall. First shown in Sculpture by the Sea at Bondi in 2016, and then at Australian Galleries in 2017, soon Kangooroo will stand by the edge of Sydney Harbour as a part of Sculpture at Barangaroo from 5-20 August 2017.
