In News May 3, 2019

Congratulations to celebrated printmaker Angus Fisher who has just completed a 3 month artist residency through the NAS Onslow Storrier Studio at La Cite International des Arts in Paris, France

The Onslow Storrier National Art School Paris Studio is located at La Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris, and has been made possible through the generosity of Annette Onslow and Tim Storrier. The studio is located on the Right Bank in Rue de L’Hôtel de Ville in the 4th arrondissement overlooking the river Seine, near many commercial and public galleries and only a short walk to Notre Dame Cathedral. There are 270 studios that house artists, musicians and writers from around the world.

Since its opening in 1965, the Cité Internationale des Arts has accommodated more than 18,000 artists from around the world. The Cité provides studio space to professional artists wishing to develop their practice in France. Across two buildings, the Cité houses a culturally diverse selection of artists from up to 50 countries in its 324 studios each year, where it encourages cross-cultural dialogue and provides a place where artists can meet with their public and other professionals.

Angus Fisher was an artist in residence from 25 January – 25 April 2019.
