Melbourne based Prudence Flint has held solo exhibitions in Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, and Hobart. She recently won the Len Fox Painting Award 2016 and has been a finalist in the Archibald Portrait Prize 2016 and 2015. She won both the Doug Moran National Portrait Prize in 2004 and the Portia Geach Memorial Award in 2010. She has been a finalist in numerous prize shows including; Arthur Guy Memorial Painting Prize, Geelong Contemporary Art Prize, Salon des Refuses, Bayside Acquisitive Art Prize, R & M McGivern Prize, Darebin-La Trobe Acquisitive Art Prize, Gold Coast Art Prize, National Works on Paper, Adelaide Perry Prize for Drawing, Rick Amor Drawing Prize and Paul Guest Prize. Her work is held in the collections of City of Port Phillip, Artbank, BHB Billiton, Gold Coast City Collection, University of Wollongong, Castlemaine Art Gallery Collection, and numerous private collections in Australia and New Zealand. Reproductions of Flint’s work have appeared in publications such as Art Monthly, Australian Art Collector and ARTAND Australia. Flint is represented by Australian Galleries in Melbourne and Sydney and Bett Gallery in Hobart.
