In its inaugural year, the 2019 Megalo International Print Prize attracted over 367 entries from 246 artists from 31 different countries around the world. The prize will be judged by Dr Jane Kinsman, Head of International Art, including Prints, Drawings + Illustrated Books, at the National Gallery of Australia; Basil Hall, Master printer and the founder and Director of Basil Hall Editions; and Ingeborg Hansen printmaker and the Director of Megalo Print Studio + Gallery.

Award categories: 

1st Prize $10,000

2nd Prize $5,000

Lerida Estate Acquisitive Award $2,500

+ People’s Choice Award $1,000

The Award recipients will be announced at the ‘Megala’ exhibition reception
