1970's

The 70’s saw the emergence of further great Artists; Jeffrey Smart, John Olsen, Tim Storrier and Brett Whiteley who joined the gallery during this period. Australian Galleries had by now earned itself the most prestigious reputation within the art world with Artists and clients alike. This period and into the 80’s before the crash of ’89 was the pinnacle of art appreciation and collecting in Australia.
