Sculptor Jock Clutterbuck was born in Edenhope, Victoria. He studied sculpture and drawing at RMIT from 1965 – 66, and later taught at RMIT and the Victorian College of the Arts. His work has been included in group exhibitions including the Mildura Sculpture Triennial, from1967 - 85 and the Australian Sculpture triennial in 1981 and 1987. He has been awarded the NGV society drawing prize in 1966, the Australian Print Council Prize in 1969 and in 1973, the Geelong Print Prize in 1972, the State Government Bicentenary award for sculpture in 1970, the PCA print prize in 1973, the Fremantle Arts Centre Print Prize in 1976 and the Caulfield Arts Centre Sculpture Award in 1979. His work is represented by the National Gallery of Australia, Canberra; Parliament House, Canberra; all state galleries, several regional galleries and internationally at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
