Through my work I seek to render the beauty of everyday objects with meticulous attention to detail. The study of light is paramount to my artistic practice. My work is informed by my passion for European art and history, and an understanding of the ways in which aesthetics can enhance our lives and uplift our emotions. I find artistic inspiration in the academic disciplines taught during the Renaissance, and the stylised motifs and geometric forms of the Art Deco era.
