A Thousand Mornings takes its name from Mary Oliver’s poetry collection, where she invites us to notice and cherish the quiet, fleeting moments that shape our days. Her work is a gentle reminder of the beauty found in simply paying attention.
I chose this title for my exhibition because her reflections resonate with my own thoughts about my practise. My work is a response to the everyday wonders that often go unnoticed-the subtle play of light, the rhythm of leaves, the stillness between movements. Through my paintings, I aim to explore and celebrate the small things that stir something deep within me, that make me feel truly alive.
Being immersed in nature is a daily practice for me-one that grounds, heals, and inspires. With this collection, I hope to share that sense of joy and reverence, from the delicate details to the bold embrace of life in all its wild, radiant beauty.
