Autumnal brings together a selection of works from Australian Galleries’ stockroom, reimagined through the changing season. In Australia, autumn looks and feels different across the country. This exhibition explores autumn as a moment of transition, seen through shifts in light, colour, and mood.
Across painting, works on paper, and printmaking, artists are presented in new groupings. From warm, earthy tones and overtly ‘autumnal’ imagery to quieter, more subtle works, the exhibition reflects the gentle change of season and the atmosphere it brings.
