One of the pleasures of working with collage is the freedom to change the ‘energy’ of an image in a moment - simply by adding or removing a particular shape or colour. This allows for an endless experimentation. Of course there is also the risk of losing the original impulse. On the other hand and with luck, one can uncover a new form that reveals a different story - one previously not imagined.
