In my paintings, I seek a sense of harmony through the interplay of line, shape, and colour within the hovering space of the two-dimensional canvas or sheet of paper. Through numerous layers of overpainting, I work towards a clarity of space without defining literal objects. My influences and inspirations are drawn from a wide range of art and music from the ancient to the modern day, across many cultures and genres.
