Michael Snape has held solo exhibitions in Sydney, Melbourne and New York and has received a number of major public sculpture commissions in locations across Australia. His work has been selected for numerous prestigious awards such as the Wynne Prize, Dobell Prize for Drawing, Sculpture at Wollombi and he is a Decade Club Artist for Sculpture by the Sea, Bondi.
Snape’s work is held in the collections of the Art Gallery of New South Wales, Sydney; Gold Coast City Gallery, Queensland; Macquarie University, Sydney; McClelland Gallery + Sculpture Park, Melbourne; Orange Regional Gallery, Orange; the Melbourne Powerhouse Museum and in numerous Private Collections.
