- Salvatore Zofrea

Sydney artist Salvatore Zofrea is highly renowned for his ability to create epic and immersing works of art, in which he captures not only the physical beauty but something of the spiritual essence of the natural world. In his 2014 exhibition at Australian Galleries, Zofrea showcased a monumental landscape painting entitled Morning light, in which he portrayed, across 30 metres and 25 canvas panels, the breathtaking transition of daylight from sunrise to late morning. While he will continue his exploration of this large scale, circular format in future series, Zofrea’s current exhibition celebrates the cornerstone of his creative practice – the significance of the drawn line.
