Aimee comes from an Art Theory & History background, completing her undergraduate degree at the College of Fine Arts in 2012. After graduating, Aimee moved to the Pilbara region of Western Australia where she coordinated a regional gallery for the not-for-profit arts organisation, FORM. Aimee lived in the Pilbara for two years and is passionate about First Nations art and culture. Aimee previously worked at Aboriginal & Pacific Art in Waterloo, and has recently completed her Masters in Museum & Heritage Studies at the University of Sydney.

Favourite artist of all time: Right now – Abudul Abudullah, Nonggirrnga Marawili, Nick Pont and Shirley Purdie.

Favourite artwork of all time: Martu women’s collaborative ‘Ngayartu Kujarra (Lake Dora)’ in the NGV’s collection. The magnitude and the glow of the white salt lake is incredible.

Hobbies: Going to the beach, bush walking, travelling, cooking, yoga, music, and of course… art, museums and libraries.
