FROM DOBELL’S COWS TO MOO BREW
JOHN KELLY ARTIST TALK
WED 4 OCT, 6.30PM
CLEMENGER BBDO AUDITORIUM (ENTER NORTH ENTRANCE, VIA ARTS CENTRE FORECOURT) GROUND LEVEL
Born in Bristol and raised in Melbourne, John Kelly became an artist after winning a competition promoted on the side of a milk carton. Ten years later in the NGV library, he found a reference to the camouflage papier-mâché cows of World War II. This discovery became the foundation of his artistic practice and launched his international career.
John Kelly shares how together these two experiences influenced his life and practice.
