Congratulations to Graeme Drendel, Terry Matassoni and Jenny Rodgerson who have been selected as finalists in the Rick Amor Self Portrait Prize 2019.
The prize was established in 2013, and is sponsored by the prominent Australian artist, Rick Amor. This year a record number of over 250 works were submitted from across Australia and overseas, and from these entries 35 finalists have been selected.
The exhibition opening and announcement of winners will take place on Thursday 14 November from 6.30pm to 8.30pm in the Barn Gallery at Montsalvat in Eltham, Victoria. The prize of $20,000 will be awarded by judge, Prudence Flint, and the exhibition will be launched by Australian lawyer, author, human rights and refugee advocate, Julian Burnside QC AO. The exhibition then runs until 26 January 2020.
