Australian Galleries is excited to announce that Angus Fisher and Greg Weight are finalists in the 2021 Environmental Art & Design Prize.

The Environmental Art and Design Prize celebrates contemporary arts practices that are socially engaged, environmentally aware and seek to enrich and contribute to positive change through a creative approach.

The 2021 Environmental Art & Design Prize invites audiences to explore the diverse ways artists and designers have interpreted our unique Australian landscape, responded to issues impacting us and contributed to a positive future.

This year there are over 220 finalists across nine categories whose works shine a light on renewal, regeneration and our shared human experience in the world.

Winners from each category will be awarded by the 2021 judges: artist Euan Macleod; artist, designer and curator Liane Rossler; and CEO and Artistic Director of the Australian Design Centre, Lisa Cahill.
