Jill Noble
Born in Adelaide in 1962, Jill Noble studied at the South Australian School of Art before moving to Melbourne in 1982 where she became a founding member of ROAR studios. Noble currently lives and works in the Macedon Ranges in Victoria and draws her inspiration from her Lancefield farm block and places she has lived in and continues to visit, such as the Gippsland Lakes and the South Australian desert. A modern painter and sculptor, she has exhibited in the south eastern capital cities since 1982. Jill Noble’s work is in the collection of the Australian National Gallery, Canberra and National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne and several regional galleries.
