From there to here features a captivating array of skilfully rendered mokulito and intaglio woodblock prints, alongside a selection of drawings. Cameron Fraser’s works share a common thread of sensitivity in tone, colour, and composition. Each piece offers an intimate interpretation of botanical specimens, executed with a delicate balance of simplicity and complexity.
Currently residing in Spain, Fraser uses From there to here to showcase still lifes that celebrate flora in their natural state, with a grounded approach that captures the raw beauty of nature with a rough, tactile quality. The variable editions, each uniquely coloured, reflect the inherent variability found in the natural world itself.
