Greg Johns’ sculpture, Forgotten – Remembered Figure, has recently been accepted into The Reading Public Museum in USA, donated by the Cohn Collection, a private collection in America. The Reading Public Museum, in West Reading, Pennsylvania, has displays featuring science and civilizations, a planetarium and a 25-acre arboretum. Galleries feature an variety from art, armor, and artifacts of world civilizations, to natural history and the cultures of Native Americans and Pennsylvania Germans.
Back in Australia, Greg has been working on creating a large-scale sculpture titled, Within – Without. The work has been commissioned by the Lachlan River Sculpture Trail in New South Wales. To date, it is the most complex sculpture he has created, and will be five meters in height. A figure within an interconnected web structure appears from one angle only and the landscape can be seen through this “window” figure.
