Join artist Jennifer Keeler-Milne for an 8 day art workshop retreat ‘Drawing on Nature’ in August 2020 on the beautiful World heritage-listed Lord Howe Island – the ideal place to break away from the city hustle to be immersed in drawing in an idyllic location.
From 8 – 15 August 2020, Jennifer will lead a drawing course on the exotic and beautiful Lord Howe Island, a lush natural paradise less than two hours by plane from Sydney or Brisbane where she will be sharing and demonstrating a range of strategies for drawing natural objects using different drawing materials for working on paper or in sketchbooks. Jennifer is a highly experienced and enthusiastic drawing teacher. Her workshops are often fully booked. This is ideal for the beginner or those with more experience who wish to extend their drawing skills. Learn a new skill or develop new ones in a beautiful and relaxed environment.
With sculpted mountain peaks rising dramatically from crystal clear turquoise waters, Lord Howe Island is considered one of the most beautiful places on earth. It was World Heritage listed in 1982 for its unique beauty and diversity, remarkable geology and rare collection of birds, plants and marine life. This crescent shaped island has a mild subtropical climate all year round, with winter temperatures ranging from 17C – 20C.
