Jenny Rodgerson and Christine Wrest-Smith – Finalists in the Rick Amor Self Portrait Prize 2022

Congratulations to Jenny Rodgerson and Christine Wrest-Smith who have been selected as finalists in the Rick Amor Self Portrait Prize 2022.

Montsalvat Gallery were delighted to receive such a high volume of submissions from across Australia, particularly in the wake of the challenges of the last two years. The selectors were impressed by both the diversity and the quality of work submitted. It is heartening to see the creativity of artists continuing to thrive as we build back from COVID.

Montsalvat is incredibly grateful to Rick Amor for his ongoing support of the Prize.

The winner of the $20,000 (non-acquisitive) Prize will be announced at the exhibition opening on Thursday 30 June in the Barn Gallery at Montsalvat.

All visitors during the exhibition period will have the opportunity to vote for the People’s Choice Award of $1,000, sponsored by Montsalvat, which will then be announced after the conclusion of the exhibition on Sunday 21st August.
