After a little hiatus, The Design Files welcomes you to their 5th Open House. Taking place at 35 Johnston Street, Collingwood, Melbourne, the door will be open from Thursday November 23rd to Sunday November 26th, from 10am to 5pm daily.
The Design Files Open House isn’t your typical pop-up. This unique curated event brings together the work of over 40 Australian makers, designers and artists, presented within the ‘ultimate Australian Home’ setting.
Artist Belynda Henry has created seven works on paper specifically for this event, which are pictured here. To register interest in any of these works please email sally@thedesignfiles.net.
Around nine months in development, three months of construction, and a week of bumping in, styling and finessing, this event is open to the public for four days only. Built from scratch within a lofty, light-filled warehouse space, the Open House will feature an expansive open-plan layout, incorporating moody master bedroom, playful kids space, contemporary living and dining zones, home bar, new custom-designed kitchen and landscaped courtyard.
