All at Australian Galleries are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Peter Morley, Founder of Meridian Sculpture Foundry.
We had the pleasure of working closely with Peter over many decades. His warmth, attunement to artist’s needs and masterful technical knowledge and skills meant that he was often able to understand an artist’s vision and elevate their work further, always to their delight.
His passion and expertise earned Meridian Sculpture a deserved reputation as one of the most highly respected and sought-after Art Foundries in the country. Peter was deeply valued both as a highly skilled professional and a wonderful friend.
Our deepest condolences go to his family, colleagues and friends, and to the many artists who were privileged enough to work with Peter during his lifetime.
