Graeme Drendel’s first trip to Italy in 1983 was a formative experience in his artistic career. Taking in all he could, he became acquainted with new people, landscapes, architecture and the art work of the early Renaissance.
Later this year Graeme will be running a series of 8 works on paper master classes – including watercolour, gouache, sketchbook and drawing – during a 12 day artist retreat in Tuscany, Italy.
This retreat offers a wonderful opportunity to learn from one of the best in an inspiring village location high up in the Tuscan mountains. The workshop will run from 20 – 31 October 2020. Included is accommodation at a private and exclusive 17th century villa, all meals at the villa plus dinners at local restaurants, transport to offsite plein air locations and transfers to and from Lucca train station on arrival and departure days.
