Dianne Fogwell: In Conversation with the Artist

In News January 23, 2021

Dianne Fogwell has been an exhibiting artist since 1979, and is one of the most respected printmakers and artists’ book practitioners in the country.

Dianne’s reverence and respect for the natural world and the fragility of our environment are recurring themes throughout her work. Her powerful imagery invites the viewer to contemplate the cycles of life, and portrays the rhythms of anticipation, destruction and renewal.

In this beautifully-shot short film by Jack Ellis, Dianne Fogwell discusses her early days at university, her printmaking technique and inspirations, and reflects upon working in the studio.

We look forward to Dianne’s upcoming exhibition at Australian Galleries, Melbourne in September 2021.
