State of the Mark celebrates the versatility of paper as a medium and its limitless potential for creating a visual dialogue. Paper has its origins in the most ancient practices of mark making and remains deeply revered, respected and intrinsic to the cultural identity of the art world. This curated group exhibition features traditional processes; etching, drypoint, lithography, linocut, mezzotint, monoprint and woodcut prints, with contemporary works in watercolour, gouache, pastel and charcoal.
