OPENING NIGHT TUESDAY 5 NOVEMBER 6pm to 8pm
When I’m travelling, I collect images that contribute to a library of reference photos; landscapes, objects, works of art, antiquities – some are interesting, some mundane, but all are calling to be placed in a new context that can create a new world of meaning and visual interest.
The paintings are on copper, an unresisting and non-absorbent surface that allows for the thin application of paint and varying degrees of transparency at times revealing the warmth of the metal.
