Alexandra completed a Bachelor of Creative Arts and New Media and a Master of Curating and Cultural Leadership at the University of New South Wales. Prior to her move into art industry Alexandra has worked in the design field in London and Abu Dhabi, UAE. More recently she has worked at UNSW Galleries, interned in at the Powerhouse Museum and Sheila Foundation, working on ‘Into The Light’ Research Project as a writer/researcher.

Alexandra has started at Australian Galleries in 2023 as gallery assistant.

Favourite artists of all time: It is difficult to narrow it down, but here are a few that I can always count on to bring my spirits up; Marc Chagall, Gustav Klimt, Louise Bourgeois, Constantin Brancusi, Mirka Mora, Barbara Hanrahan, Emily Kame Kngwarreye, Chiharu Shiota and Bill Viola.

Favourite artwork: I was very fortunate to see, Marc Chagall’s Stained glass at All Saints Church in Tudeley, Kent, England and Leonardo Da Vinci’s The Last Supper at Santa Maria delle Grazie, Milan.

Favourite pastime/ hobbies: Travel, art, live music, theatre, reading, wine tasting, and catching up with family and friends.
