Veronica joined Australian Galleries in 2023 as Gallery Coordinator in Melbourne.

Veronica holds a Bachelor of Arts from New York University, graduating with honours from NYU’s Steinhardt School of Culture and Human Development. Originally from New York, Veronica has lived in Melbourne for 6 years and previously held roles in creative writing, theatre production, and event coordination, notably as gallery coordinator at RED Gallery in Fitzroy North. She has a passion for supporting artists and community engagement.

Favourite artist:My favourite artist seems to be constantly changing, but some visual artists whose work never fails to bring me joy and inspiration include Sam Gilliam, Yayoi Kusama, Joseph Cornell, Jeff Koons, Alexander Calder, Salvador Dali, Gustav Klimt, the list could go on…

Favourite artwork:Ophelia by Sir John Everett Millais, which I am lucky enough to have viewed in person at Tate Britain

Favourite pastime: reading, writing, watching films, and going to the theatre. I also love a weekend market and camping/exploring with my dog, Maple.
