In News October 26, 2019

Congratulations to Greg Johns, Ayako Saito, Ron Robertson-Swann, Michael Snape, Jimmy Rix, Stephen King, Michael Le Grand, Peter Lundberg, David Horton, and Paul Selwood who have been selected for Sculpture by the Sea, Bondi 2019.

Sculpture by the Sea is the largest free-to-the-public annual sculpture exhibition in the world, staged on the spectacular Bondi to Tamarama coastal walk. Sculpture by the Sea is one of Sydney’s most popular cultural events, each year attracting over 500,000 attendees. Begun in 1997, this year marks the 23rd anniversary of the exhibition with 111 artists from 18 countries including Australia on display. The exhibition generates an unprecedented level of goodwill among the public as they enjoy one of the most unique events in the world. The popularity of the Bondi exhibition led to the creation of Sculpture by the Sea, Cottesloe in Perth on Australia’s Indian Ocean coast in March each year.
