In April last year Michelle Hiscock travelled to battlefields of the Western Front with eleven other artists with the objective of recording their responses to the landscape as they found it a hundred years after the guns fell silent. The resulting exhibition is Salient, Contemporary Artists at the Western Front, which opened in Armidale on 23 March 2018 and travels to regional centres throughout NSW before coming to the Anzac Memorial in Hyde Park in October this year.
