Fleur Rendell

b. 1971

Linocut print maker Fleur Rendell completed a Bachelor of Arts in ceramics and printmaking at RMIT in 1992.

Her masterful linocuts and works on paper are characterised by bold, clean lines and a vibrant colour palette. Her unique design aesthetic celebrates the patterns and shapes within nature and still life arrangements by condensing them down to their most succinct form.

Rendell’s works have been exhibited in Melbourne, Sydney and Tasmania. Her work is held by the National Gallery of Australia, Canberra; the University of Melbourne and the Australian Print Workshop, Melbourne.
