OPENING NIGHT Tuesday 6 May 6pm to 8pm
MEET THE ARTIST Saturday 17 May 3pm
“Let’s Begin” marks the start of an exciting new chapter, as I introduce myself and my practice to a new audience. This intimate exhibition in the ‘Rare Room’ at Australian Galleries, Melbourne, is a curated selection of recent works that reflect my diverse material interests and deep love for the act of making.
The exhibition includes new paintings, woodcut prints, drawings, and a collaborative ceramic moon jar created with artist Neville French. Each piece invites viewers into a quiet space of contemplation, where themes of world affairs, uncertainty, and resilience unfold. My practice is often driven by a desire to reconcile the turbulence of contemporary life, exploring pathways to solace and moments of brightness amid the chaos of our times.
By gathering these varied works together, I hope to offer a glimpse into my creative journey—one that embraces collaboration, material diversity, and a reflective investigation of the world we share. In this intimate space, I invite you to look closely, to pause, and to connect with the quiet strength that emerges through making.
