Stephanie Jane Rampton

UK born Stephanie Jane Rampton obtained a degree in Art and Design in England in the late seventies and a master’s in Art Therapy at La Trobe University in the 2007.

Always a keen drawer Stephanie’s passion for printmaking was sparked by workshops at APW and the National Art School. She has since been invited to speak and run workshops at several tertiary education institutions and has mentored printmaking students.

Stephanie has been in numerous solo and group shows in Australia and worldwide. Her work was highly commended in the Waterhouse Natural History Art prize at the Museum of South Australia. She was selected for the Burnie Print prize in 2015 and again in 2019. In 2018 she was invited to exhibit at the Douro Biennale in Portugal and selected to exhibit in the National Original Print Exhibition held by the Royal Society of Printmakers in London. Stephanie’s work is held in the National Gallery of Art archives in Canberra.
