Intimacy of Fear (after Pema Chödrön)
- Harrie Fasher

Australian Galleries is thrilled to announce the highly anticipated exhibition by renowned sculptor Harrie Fasher; her first major solo show in our Melbourne gallery.

Fasher is a highly skilled sculptor whose works are known for their distinct visual language and powerful emotive eloquence. Utilising both abstraction and figuration, with her predominate subject being the horse and more recently the human figure, Fasher’s works poignantly embody tension and movement, power and vulnerability, strength and grace.

Harrie Fasher’s understanding and respect for the mediums she works with and an innate connection to her subject matter are palpable in her captivating works. Her sculptures are imbued with an intricate knowledge of the physical and gestural nuances of the horse, and resonate poignantly with an understanding of their deeper nature, beyond physical form.
